Truth is, I was slacking a bit. I admit it. Waiting for plugins to update and being sucked up in Empyrion galactic survival too.

 

SO, THIS week, (starting right now in fact) I am revamping the test server to do some plugin testing and make sure 1.9 is ready for us to unleash upon

the community.

 

I apologize that things are taking so long this time around but at the same time, there is no point moving forward if most of the plugins we rely on , aren't ready yet.

 

 

Having said all that, expect many changes this week! Also, once the testing is done and we are ready for updates and rolling to 1.9, I will announce the great 'TnT War' just prior

to us wiping everything and starting clean.

 

 

'Just the FAQ's mam'

 

"Will we lose our builds and money"  Yes. The nature of this update and the stagnation we have experience make it better in the long run for us to start absolutely fresh.

 

"Can we have our builds schematiced?"  Yes, but only for personal use. Once the schematic is saved and transferred to the owner of the build, it will be removed from the archive.

(Contact me, PunJedi, for info on if your build is small enough for schematic)

 

"What about our ranks?"  You keep your ranks, and as always there will be kits and bonuses available to you. However! Kits WILL be limited for the first few weeks of 1.9 to allow everyone to have 

a fairly decent shot at world. This will help to keep the balances in place.

 

 

"Will there be pvp, creative, etc?"  Yes, but again this is contingent on whether or not the plugins required for that are available. I will be focusing on the main worlds that install with Vanilla first and ensuring those are running proper before adding any other worlds in.

 

 

"You had mentioned worlds for the highest rank, is that still going to happen?"   Yup! If you are the highest rank in game, you will be able to have control of your own world. There are some rules and regulations involving this, and again, it will be based on availability of plugins needed for it.  This will be implemented within a few weeks after the wipe and restart.

Latest update******

 

Plugins tested and working - Essentials, Herochat, PermissionsEX, Worldguard, WorldEdit, MySQL (for database), Vault, iConomy (needs more testing), MultiVerse and MultiInv (for creative, pvp, skyblock worlds), and OpenInv (admin tool)

 

Latest tested and working - LWC (chest protections), NCP (anti cheat), WorldBorder.

 

 

 

Plugins NOT working and need replacement or update - ChestShop  

ChestShop IS working but I do get one error in console. Looks to be a low level error that I can either fix or won't present a problem.

 

Stay Tuned as I work through the day getting ready for 1.9!

So we almost there. YES, so excited for 1.9

Newest update - Skyblock tested and working. This also means Multiverse and Multinventory were better tested now and appear to be working fine. All listed plugins show no errors in console during usage with exception of ChestShop throwing out an exception generated (not that big a deal as far as I can tell).

 

Holographic Display is also appearing to work fine and in conjunction with skyblock as well.

 

All that's essentially left now is a few of the plugins needed for extra worlds and some fun stuff but as it stands it's looking good.

How are the personal worlds gonna work?

Also awhile back you said that multiple servers where in thought such as vanilla and modded, not just bukkit. Is that not going to be a thing?

I tried the multiple servers with Hubs and darn near killed what was left of our community in the process. It was not only exceptionally difficult to maintain properly but caused a lot of separation between members due to rank access etc..

 

as far as personal worlds they will simply be world sized regions (10,000 to 15,000 blocks in all directions from 0) that you have ownership of. This may and can include world generations, custom features etc.. like replaceing all the coal ore with glowstone or whatnot. Keep in mind if the world is too far beyond survival norms, it will be separate inventories from the main worlds.

Most of the basic functions have been tested but tomorrow I will be getting into the details more and making sure it's all stable.

Are the private worlds still in the making or did I just simply miss a memo, cause I really want this to be a thing! I could have private animal farms separate from my house and maybe even put a massive sorting device there!

Yup, they will still be a thing, although they are at the bottom of the list. First we have a few plugins to swap out, some Java stuff to fix and ensure everything is running smoothly. At that point, I will begin the DE private world option. I have worked with Truin in freeing up hundreds of Gigs of space so that this option won't drain us of our HDD space
